Following his Esprits de Parfum creations of Gris Dior, Lucky, Rouge Trafalgar, Ambre Nuit, Oud Ispahan, and Bois d’Argent in fall 2025, Francis Kurkdjian now celebrates the floral beauty of Jasmin des Anges eau de parfum with a new concentration and structure. This Esprit de Parfum reaches new heights of intensity, evoking the sensual essence of Indian summers in Grasse, where warm evenings amplify the intoxicating scents of blooming Jasmine Grandiflorum.
There is a deep connection between Christian Dior and perfume since the inception of his House. This revolutionary spirit embodies a rich legacy, achieving a perfect blend of tradition and audacity, as Dior himself described. Creating a fragrance for La Collection Privée (according to Francis Kurkdjian) begins with defining its essence, viewing its olfactory architecture as a reflection of garment structure. The next step involves utilizing the constraints of raw materials, akin to a couturier working with fabric drape.
“Composing an Esprit de Parfum is a remarkable exercise, shaped by an idea of power and distinctive intensity… I therefore envisioned Jasmin des Anges Esprit de Parfum as a generous, expansive and far-reaching fragrance that is undeniably radiant… This idea of simple happiness, in harmony with regal nature, is what led me to evoke the magic of a hedonistic life in the South of France, which Christian Dior loved. But this Jasmin des Anges also needed to have the sophisticated beauty of an exceptional fragrance that delights the senses with a heady feel, like an incredible syrupy nectar composed from our two Jasmin Grandiflorum supply chains. The first is as precious as it is historic, sourced through our exclusive partnerships in the Grasse region, established more than twenty years ago. The second comes from the harvests of our FFL-certified partners in Egypt. Together, they enhance intensely radiant, warm and fruity floral facets. Drawing on these potent, evocative nuances, this Esprit de Parfum is both intriguing and captivating.”

Launched in 2018, Jasmin des Anges eau de parfum is a floral composition that immerses you in a jasmine field in Grasse, during the last late summer harvests when the flowers exhibit fresh and fruity notes. Francis Kurkdjian expresses his feelings: « I share many traits with Christian Dior: a love for nature and flowers, insatiable curiosity, a passion for life’s pleasures, and a touch of superstition. These qualities define me and resonate deeply with the Dior spirit of creation… particularly in my compositions for La Collection Privée, honoring the essence of this House. »
