STAR CARS

Angelina Jolie’s Ferrari will be auctioned at Christie’s

The Exceptional Sale

on November 20, 2024

Sportscar enthusiast Angelina Jolie’s Ferrari will be the star of Christie’s The Exceptional Sale auction on 20th November. Her 1958 PF Pininfarina 250 GTI coupé is the fruit of an historic collaboration between two legendary Italian companies, Ferrari and Pininfarina.

The model was initially unveiled to the world in 1958 beneath the glass dome of the Grand Palais, and coinicidentally, will be auctioned 66 years later just a stone’s throw away at Christie’s Paris showroom on avenue Matignon.

Only 353 examples of this model were ever produced, Jolie’s limited edition is numbered 11.

Following Chrstie’s auction of the Aston-Martin driven by James Bond in No Time to Die (acquired for more than 3 million euros), this is one of the most sought-after classic cars in the world. It combines perfect proportions, elegance and horsepower, placing it in the category of objets d’art.

Jolie’s Ferrari is glossy black with red leather interior and wooden steering wheel, with silver chrome bumpers and headlights, and wire-spoke wheels. Beautifully maintained with just 6,424 miles on the speedometrer, the two-seater’s top speed is 157 mph.

This legendary coupé will be the highlight of The Exceptional Sale auction, which brings together some of the most extraordinary and exceptional objects in every category each year.

The estimate is available on request.
